One of the horror greats, a true cult classic, celebrates it's 25th Anniversary this year and for the first time ever it's own toy line.
Series 2 includes the long awaited hero version of the beloved character Ash. Hero Ash has over 20 points of articulation and includes his chainsaw arm, sawed off shotgun, and possessed Deer head accessory.
Henrietta has over 20 points of articulation and includes an interchangeable alternate head with extended bendable neck and a display stand to re-create her floating and hovering as seen on screen
Both figures are highly detailed, fully poseable and come in clamshell packaging.
Hero Ash: Ash drives his girlfriend Linda to a secluded cabin, unaware that the cabin was previously occupied by Professor Knowby and the latter’s wife Henrietta and chosen as a site for the translation/recitation of passages from Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. Ash idly plays the tape deck containing the translations, inadvertently summoning an ancient evil which surges inward from the surrounding woods. Professor Knowby’s daughter, Annie, visits the cabin with additional pages from the Necronomicon, and Ash is unsettled by an eerily familiar illustration depicting the “Hero From The Sky” prophesized as the destroyer of the Deadites. Annie recites passages from the additional pages which cause the ancient evil to physically manifest. While Ash battles the manifestation, Annie recites the passages to open a dimensional gateway, but is attacked by Ash’s Deadite-possessed hand. Ash is drawn through the portal and marooned in 1300 AD. Actualizing the “Hero From The Sky” illustration, Ash instinctively kills a winged Deadite, and is horrified as he is hailed by armored knights.
Henrietta: Ash drives his girlfriend Linda to a secluded cabin, unaware that the cabin was previously occupied by Professor Knowby and the latter’s wife Henrietta and chosen as a site for the translation/recitation of passages from Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. Possessed by the ancient evil Henrietta is killed by Knowby and buried in the fruit cellar. Bloated and monstrous, she abruptly rises from her grave while Ash is locked in the cellar. Ash narrowly escapes Henrietta’s clutches and Henrietta is locked in the cellar, but Ash is forced to face her again when he returns to the cellar to retrieve missing pages from the Necronomicon. After Henrietta escapes from the cellar she mutates, growing an elongated serpentine neck, providing Ash with a troublesome adversary. Finally Annie distracts Henrietta, enabling Ash to dismember Henrietta’s arms and perform a mid-neck decapitation. Ash cements his victory by shotgunning the severed head at point-blank range.
