The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance Deet the Gelfling 1:6 Scale Statue

Weta Workshop travels to mystical world of Podlings, Gelflings, and Skeksis to bring you this sensational The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Deet the Gelfling 1:6 Scale Statue, based the Netflix show. Deet, a gelfling of Grot, is featured in this stunning polystone statue that stands about 11 3/4-inches tall on a faux-stone base. The prototype was sculpted by Weta Workshop's Steven Saunders, and the statue comes packaged in a closed box.

As huge fans of Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal (1982), Weta Workshop is excited to dive into the world of Thra and create premium collectibles for the prequel series on Netflix. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance tells a new story, set many years before the events of the movie. The world of Thra is dying. The Crystal of Truth has been corrupted by the evil Skeksis and sickness spreads across the land. When three Gelfling uncover the horrific truth behind the power of the Skeksis, the fires of rebellion are kindled and an epic battle for survival begins.

Deet is content and happy hand-feeding nurlocs in the Caves of Grot where she lives with her family. But everything changes for Deet when the Sanctuary Tree speaks to her, giving her a vision of their world darkened and dying. Compelled by this truth to seek out the leader of the seven Gelfling clans, Deet leaves her home for the very first time to journey in the bright lands above ground. Even as the three suns sting in her sensitive eyes, Deet's bravery and single-minded belief in the goodness of Thra and its people drive in pursuit of her urgent quest.
