Battle Bones is one of the most recognizable creatures in the entire Masters of the Universe mythology, and this 200X version is the definitive modern take on it. A colossal skeletal beast that hauls warriors across Eternia, Battle Bones answers to no side — the box art itself shows it carrying Heroic Warriors and Evil Warriors alike, exactly as the original did.
Mattel and the Four Horsemen rebuilt the classic 1984 design from the ground up for the 200X line. The skeletal frame is far more intricately detailed than the vintage version, with cybernetic mechanical components and blue accents woven through the bone structure — less a walking skeleton, more a war machine grown from one.
The engineering is the fun part. The articulated tail swings forward and locks into a latch between the shoulder blades, converting the whole creature into a carrying handle so you can haul it around like a toy box. The tail tip conceals a spring-loaded missile launcher, and built-in weapon storage keeps your warriors' gear on board. Loaded up, Battle Bones carries eight 6-inch action figures at once.
Battle Bones Transport arrived at the very end of the 200X run, which is exactly why it's so hard to find today — production was short and the line was winding down. It is one of the scarcest and most in-demand pieces in the entire modern series.
